This contains everything you need to root Froyo and... if you want to go a step further...install a Gingerbread ROM [Das BAMF 2.1] as well as the Gingerbread radio that works with this ROM. I tested myself on my own Thunderbolt.
Links to xda-developers.com and thunderboltforums.com where these were all downloaded from are included with saved web page (in case page was down for maintenance or whatever) so you can see original instructions...
Sense 2.1 and 3.0 cameras included
From personal experience:
-This will wipe data [mem card will be ok]
-after TB_Auto_root is completed you will be rooted, and can install Das BAMF
-if you don't boot into bootloader and install Gingerbread radio MR2 [after Das BAMF install] you will have no service on your phone but wi-fi will work.
-recommend full wipe after Das BAMF is installed
-hold [volume down] while powering on to get to bootloader (to install PG05IMG.zip)
-Be sure to read the instructions of TB_Auto_root carefully as you go through the root process and you will be fine.
-I am not responsible for bricks, all the resources you need are contained within the torrent
-Das BAMF 2.1 will have Netflix preinstalled, and it does work. :D
