Amnesty International commemorates its 50th anniversary with the release of an album featuring the cream of the world’s music talent covering Bob Dylan songs, with contributions from a huge variety of artists including Adele, Patti Smith, Pete Townshend, Ke$ha, The Gaslight Anthem, Sting, Jackson Browne, Elvis Costello, Sinead O’Connor, Kris Kristofferson, Bad Religion, Marianne Faithfull, My Chemical Romance, Bryan Ferry, Pete Seeger and many more. Entitled Chimes of Freedom: Songs of Bob Dylan the album features 73 tracks on four CDs.

Finally, clock chimes for your Mac! This app gives you four chime selections, including Westminster, Whittington, and St. Michael. You can choose the schedule the chimes will play on, which means they can be silenced at night. Also, select the volume of your chimes.

Wind chimes are chimes constructed from suspended tubes, rods or other objects and are often made of metal or wood. Wind chimes are usually hung outside of a building or house and are intended to be played by the wind. Sound can be produced when the tubes or rods come in contact with a suspended central clapper, in the form of a ball or horizontal disk, or each other. Wind chimes may be used to observe changes in wind direction, depending on where they are hung. The Microhammer wind chime collection is made from a selection of different wind chimes, however sampled in detail so the user can control the amount of chimeniness and use them as percussive instruments. We recorded both big metal wind chimes, small tiny triangle wind chimes and hollow wooden chimes.

A beautifully sampled set of ethereal copper Wind Chimes. All 6 chimes are sampled in 3 articulations - with a rubber mallet, a wood "beater" and wood stick hits. Also included are Wind Chime atmospheric samples, some of which were processed with Granular Synthesis for an other-worldly quality. Programming includes velocity cross faded articulations, layered pads and flexible key mapping.
