This was one of my son's favorite books from the time he was very little. The pictures of animals are large, and the babies love to look at them. I think it shows six different animals. The name of the animal is written in bold letters, and the phrases describing the animals are simple and not overwhelming to little ones. I'd recommend this book to any parent wanting to introduce their child to the world of animals. I'm buying this book as part of a birthday gift for a 1 yo. I think all the BE books are great! My 5 yo still enjoys reading some of them (especially the Violet series).
